Of the four sojourms of Guru Nanak Devji.the second one coverd is
Deccan(Southwards).During this time Guru Nanak Dvji has passed
through Bidar ,wherein after listening to the woes and tales of people,He,
after chanting prayers and taking the name of Waheguru moved the near
by stone with his right toe and freshSpring of Water gushed out.the
Holy Gurudwra Sri Nanak jhira Saheb at Bidar stands by the side of this
Holy spring which is visited by the lakhs of pligrims from all over the country
and aboard round the year.
The Prabhandhak Committee Gurudwra Sri Nanak jhira Saheb apart from
managing the religiuos activities of Gurudwra.always contributed
toward the welfare and upliftment of people in this area.During the
President ship of Sardar joga singhji,in march1987,Sri Nanak jhira
Saheb Foundation,a Trust,was carved out for exclusive and effective
management of the following educational and charitable institution.
